Job summary

Talent With Heart is seeking a Senior Software Support Engineer to own complex production issues across SaaS platforms. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, application support, or production support within a SaaS environment.
• Hands-on troubleshooting across application code, databases, and infrastructure.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails, React, TypeScript, SQL/PostgreSQL, and AngularJS.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, logging, monitoring, and root-cause analysis.
• Working knowledge of AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and authentication/SSO.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar.
• Strong analytical thinking, technical ownership, and customer-impact resolution.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Own Tier 3 production support challenges from diagnosis to resolution.
• Troubleshoot issues involving Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, SQL/PostgreSQL; implement fixes.
• Perform root-cause analysis across apps, databases, and integrations.
• Collaborate with Software Eng, QA, DevOps, Product, and Support to boost stability.
• Develop scripts, tools, and AI-assisted solutions to streamline troubleshooting.
• Contribute to software enhancements and modernization initiatives.
• Develop deep knowledge of the SaaS applications and be a go-to expert.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve technical documentation and practices.
