Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Roy, UT is seeking a Staff Software Quality Assurance Engineer to support the Sentinel program. The role emphasizes ensuring quality across the software lifecycle in a fast-paced Agile/SAFe environment and interacting with multiple organizational levels.

The candidate will guide SQA activities, provide expert technical advice, and own the development of quality plans and metrics. A DoD Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science degree required, with extensive SDLC experience.
• Experience as a Software Product Owner or Software Project Manager in a large Agile/SAFe program.
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes, standards and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust Software Quality plans, documents and training materials.
• Provide senior technical oversight for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate across teams and security classifications to ensure quality and compliance.
• Support software metrics, status reporting and peer reviews of artifacts.
• Disposition non-conformances and act as SME for the SQA team.
