Job description

Title: Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: East Windsor, NJ

Responsibilities:

1. Understand project scope and define QA testing strategy and testing scope for functional and non-functional requirements.
2. Perform feed analysis and data discovery for various healthcare feeds including 837, CCDA, CCD, QRDA1, Adjudicated Claims, DoH Claims, and custom EHR feeds.
3. Verify data anomalies and create standard ETL validation checks per business requirements.
4. Execute ETL test scripts and automate them.
5. Create SQL scripts and automate them.
6. Conduct reports and Tableau dashboard testing using SQL scripts and Selenium code.
7. Validate portal and execute the automation suites in UAT and Production environments.
8. Review the data quality testing process and provide QA deliveries.
9. Define data quality rules and validation procedures.
10. Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Medicaid Reform, Health System, and ACO/VBP products.
11. Perform functional and non-functional testing.
12. Review test cases for functionality, performance, database, and user acceptance.
13. Test various interfaces for Health Systems and HIE based on IHE Profiles and HL7.
14. Participate in troubleshooting and defect review tasks.
15. Review and analyze system efficiency and develop strategies to improve enterprise data warehouse.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related Engineering with 5 years of progressive experience or Master’s degree with 3 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in US Healthcare workflows, Provider Performance Reporting, Value-based payments for US Healthcare, Java, SQL, Windows, Unix/Linux, Eclipse, MYSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, Hive, SVN, Spark, Selenium, Python, JIRA.
