Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Senior Software QA Engineer to join our Infotainment team. This role focuses on validating high-quality software across media, navigation and AI features, from low-level code to end-user applications, in both simulation and in-vehicle environments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in automotive QA, hands-on test automation, and experience with Android/Linux tools, CAN tooling, and OTA testing. Collaboration with developers to expand test coverage is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recent experience as QA Engineer in the Automotive industry.
• Proven ability to develop robust, efficient, high-quality tests.
• Experience with Android and/or Linux test/automation and UI validation tools.
• Experience with simulation tools such as Vehicle Spy, Vector, CAN analyzer, PCAN, Canoe.
• Experience testing OTA, WiFi, and Bluetooth features.
• Familiar with Git, Jira, and software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Drive validation of high quality, high performance, and production-ready software in Infotainment areas (Media, Navigation, Audio, AI).
• Ensure quality from low-level software to end-user applications.
• Validate software in simulation and in-vehicle, and coordinate release with vehicle integration.
• Design, maintain and execute automated tests (functional, system integration, regression, API).
• Support and coordinate QA engineers with development teams to improve test coverage.

Senior Software QA Engineer

We are currently seeking a Sr. Software QA Engineer to join our Infotainment team. The position requires an experienced professional with a background in quality assurance. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can do attitude and approaches their work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast paced environment.

The Role

• Drive validation of high quality, high performance, and production ready software in the following areas: Media, Navigation , Audio , AI, and other in vehicle Infotainment applications
• Ensure quality from low‑level software to end user applications
• Validate software in simulation environment and in‑vehicle Test and release in alignment with vehicle integration, ensuring quality at the vehicle level
• Design, maintain and execute automated tests, including functional, system integration, functional, regression and API testing
• Support and coordinate between QA engineers and the development teams to ensure growing test coverage

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recent experience working as QA Engineer in the Automotive industry
• Proven ability to develop robust, efficient, high-quality tests
• Working knowledge of Android and/or Linux Test/Automation and UI validation tools experience
• Experience working with any of the following simulation tools: Vehicle Spy / Vector / CAN analyzer / PCAN / Canoe
• Experience in testing OTA , WiFi, Bluetooth features.
• Familiar with Git, Jira, and software development lifecycle.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or related technical field is required. Master’s degree or higher education is preferred.
