Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Senior Software Product Owner to guide the Shared Services platform within the Software Operations Organization. You will decide what to build and why, prioritizing backlog items and ensuring alignment with stakeholders across development and operations teams.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, experience with agile methods, and the ability to drive value in a regulated medical device environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years in software engineering, product development, or product management, or an Advanced Degree with 2+ years.
• Lean Mindset and experience with Build, Measure, Learn cycles.
• Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and work with cross-functional teams.
• Medical device industry acumen is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define priorities for evolving the Shared Services platform as a product.
• Write epics, features, and stories for backlog grooming.
• Serve as the liaison between platform teams and customers including developers and operations.
• Manage sprint demos and validate outcomes with stakeholders.
• Establish KPIs, SLOs, and SLAs for platform success.
• Coordinate with architects, DevOps, and technical leads to align roadmap.
