Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an Expert Software Product Manager to drive planning and delivery of high-impact software products across our consumer notebook portfolio. You will translate customer needs into clear product direction and partner with engineering and design to deliver at scale.

Responsibilities include owning the lifecycle from discovery to launch, conducting market analysis, and defining success metrics aligned with portfolio strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software product management or related roles.
• Experience delivering customer-facing software products in a technology-driven environment.
• Familiarity with agile, cross-functional, and globally distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of software products or major features, from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Define and communicate product requirements, priorities, and success metrics aligned to broader portfolio strategy.
• Conduct market, customer, and competitive analysis to inform roadmap decisions.
• Identify opportunities to leverage new technologies to improve customer experiences.
• Partner with engineering and UX to deliver high-quality, customer-centric software.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across commercial, marketing, partnerships, and operational teams.
• Track and analyze product performance using data and customer feedback to guide iteration.
• Represent the product in planning forums, reviews, and cross-team working sessions.
• Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to gather insights and validate solutions.
• Contribute to process improvements and best practices within the product organization.
