Job Description

The Senior Software Product Manager is responsible for defining, delivering, and managing the lifecycle of products in Allstate’s Health Solutions technology roadmap. This includes managing strategic product vision, discovery, roadmaps, and backlogs to maximize customer and enterprise value. The role involves working closely with stakeholders, validating assumptions through product discovery, and executing go-to-market strategies. The internal title for this role is Product Management (Technical) Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Use customer feedback, market analysis, and data to inform product strategy.
• Create and execute product strategies for multiple products.
• Decompose complex problems into manageable tasks and prioritize backlogs.
• Engage in discovery activities to validate assumptions.
• Act as the voice of the customer by engaging with current and potential customers.
• Work with Business Analysts to capture detailed requirements.
• Ensure user experience aligns with customer expectations and business goals.
• Define and track metrics to measure success and inform strategy.
• Coach team members on collaboration, research, testing, and product rollout.
• Manage product backlog and provide stakeholder feedback.

Job Qualifications:

• 7+ years of product management experience.
• Experience with Insurance/Sales applications.
• Proven ability to manage complex initiatives.
• Experience with Agile and Hybrid methodologies.
• Experience with tools like Jira, Rally, ADO, Confluence, etc.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Education

4-year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Experience

7+ years of experience (Preferred)

Compensation
