Veterans Enterprise Technology Solutions Inc is seeking a Software Packaging Engineer with an active TS clearance for a hybrid, on‑site role in Washington, DC. You will packaging, testing, and delivering baseline and non-baseline software to classified and unclassified government networks.

Responsibilities include managing packaging workflows, coordinating with application owners, and publishing packages via Intune, PAT, MCM, Software Center or FTP, plus OS deployment and lifecycle updates for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 9 years' experience; may accept experience in lieu of degree.
• Hands-on experience creating silent installations for Adobe, AutoCAD and Microsoft products.
• Experience deploying MS cumulative updates to endpoints via Intune.
• 3-5 years of experience with Microsoft MCM.
• 1-3 years of experience packaging applications for Windows 11 platforms.
• Experience in classified/unclassified government environments with 10,000+ endpoints.
• Scripting experience: PowerShell and VBScript.
• Experience packaging applications with various licensing models.
• Team player with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage packaging workflow for baseline and non-baseline applications on SOE platforms.
• Coordinate with application owners to build, test, and publish packages via Intune, PAT, MCM, Software Center or FTP.
• Perform application packaging scripting to ensure compliant installation requirements.
• Perform OS Deployment engineering for Windows 11, including WIM creation and task sequences.
• Support lifecycle updates and security patches with packaging and UAT.
• Assist in troubleshooting deployment issues and maintaining an application catalog.
• Create and maintain automated deployment packages.
