Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking a Senior Software Packager to lead packaging projects across desktop, server, and cloud platforms including AVD environments. You will design modern packaging, plan requirements, perform pre- and post-implementation support, and maintain documentation of all customizations.

The role involves technical leadership in packaging and delivery tools, scripting, pilot testing, and coordinating with IT teams and vendors to ensure successful deployments with compliance

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software packaging and deployment experience in large enterprise environments.
• Experience integrating packaging solutions with the user self-service portal, automation tools, enterprise software deployment tools, software licensing tools, data export compliance, remote AVD, and remote hosted applications.
• Strong technical skills and hands-on expertise in .NET, BAT, VBS, MSI, APPV, MSIX, Numecent and related scripting and database tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead packaging projects and coordinate with IT teams and third-party vendors.
• Develop packaging solutions for desktop and server platforms, including on-prem and cloud environments.
• Create and execute test plans prior to software deployment and document all changes.
• Provide technical escalation and remediation during large-scale deployments.
• Collaborate in release management, compliance, and risk mitigation activities.
• Write design, test, installation, and incident documentation.
