Ford Motor Company seeks a Senior Software Engineering Manager within Ford Pro Intelligence to lead a team of software engineers, set technical direction, and deliver scalable solutions for commercial customers. You will drive end-to-end delivery, quality, and collaboration across product, design, and engineering partners.

You should have 12+ years in software development, 5+ years in leadership, and strong cloud and API experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of software development experience with proficiency in Java, Python, C++, or Go.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing people and delivering software at scale.
• 5+ years leading teams building customer-facing, browser-based applications with modern JavaScript frameworks.
• 5+ years of cloud-based technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• 3+ years leading teams that design and scale internal and external APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering managers who support software teams delivering end-to-end products.
• Grow software engineering managers and engineers with regular feedback and coaching.
• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery within time, budget, and quality constraints.
• Lead cross-functional scope including front-end and API teams.
