Job summary
Vantor is seeking a Lead Software Integration Engineer to support the U.S. Space Force, leading a cross-functional team in evaluating physics-based concepts and designing end-to-end software solutions.
The role requires hands-on coding across the stack, mentoring colleagues, and translating scientific needs into scalable software with strong communication to stakeholders. You will work on-site at Peterson AFB in Colorado Springs, interact with science, software, hardware, and systems engineering
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field such as Physics, CS, EE, or Math.
- Experience with RF/space weather concepts and full-stack development.
- Ability to read and program in Python, JS, or C/C++, and frameworks like React/Angular/REST/GraphQL.
Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional team evaluating physics-based concepts and software solutions.
- Mentor engineering and science personnel and communicate with stakeholders.
- Drive alignment between scientific objectives and software development in a mission-focused environment.
