Collins Aerospace is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Software Integration Engineer to work on an Integration & Test team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving and creating software integration and test utilities and processes. The ideal candidate is a well-disciplined individual with a proven applicable technical background, who is able to thrive in a dynamic agile environment and is able to work well in a team setting.

What You Will Do

• Integrate and test multiple software subsystems and external systems, identifying issues related to data exchanges, usability, functionality, safety, and/or vulnerabilities
• Develop new automated tests and test utilities, and update code to remain compliant with updated subsystems and external systems
• Utilize container technologies to configure deploy software to various lab and customer site environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new software
• Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for software development and test processes
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in software testing

Qualifications You Must Have

• Experience designing, implementing, and/or supporting cloud native container orchestration platforms and technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Istio, HELM, Podman, Docker)
• Experience with Python, testing frameworks like Pytest, Linux shell scripting and basic CLI tools such as grep, awk, sed, ssh, & scp, developing automation pipelines using tools such as Gitlab and Artifactory, and creating test threads, cases, and steps for SWIT and/or SIT.
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
• Active and transferableTS/SCIU.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

The salary range for this role is 90,000 USD - 182,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
