Job summary

Sonatus is seeking a highly motivated SW Integration engineer to join our fast-growing team in Sunnyvale, CA. You will integrate software modules, build POC prototypes, and troubleshoot issues across automotive and data-communication domains.

Role requires strong C/C++, embedded systems experience, Linux/Android, and POSIX, with multithreading and debugging skills. Collaboration with Sales, Product, QA, and global teams is essential, with up to 20% travel and a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, EE or related field plus 7+ years in data communication, networking or automotive.
• Strong C/C++ and embedded system programming experience.
• Experience with Linux/Android and POSIX; knowledge of multithreading and debugging.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills; willing to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Integrate software modules and SDK at system or application level; create POC prototypes.
• Plan POCs; estimate scope, effort and provide NRE estimates.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve issues in software integration.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams globally; provide remote or on-site support.
• Manage external vendors and oversee project scope and deliverables.
• Train and onboard customers and partners with product documentation.
