Qualifications

• 5+ years in engineering leadership roles with direct people management responsibility.
• Strong hands-on background in TypeScript, client side and backend/API engineering.
• Proven experience leading architectural modernization or migration to modern service platforms.
• Experience designing and operating distributed systems in AWS.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional engineering team delivering core platform capabilities across APIs, mobile apps, desktop clients, and other surfaces.
• Drive modernization initiatives toward a TypeScript-oriented service architecture.
• Partner with Product, QA, and platform teams to define sequencing and release predictability.
• Establish standards for service design, observability, and secure-by-default implementation.
• Coach engineers and build a high-trust, high-accountability team culture.
