Job summary

Ping Identity in the United States is seeking a Senior Development Manager to lead a cross-functional engineering team delivering the next generation of SaaS products in Identity and Access Management. You will report to a Senior Director of Engineering and oversee requirements, development, test, and delivery across the lifecycle.

You will recruit and mentor engineers, provide design and code reviews, and collaborate with product management to define requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience hiring engineers and building high-performing teams.
• Experience leading Agile teams and planning processes.
• CI/CD cloud architecture and delivery experience.
• Minimum 2 years leading SaaS teams and processes.
• Minimum 5 years directly managing development teams delivering commercial products.
• Ability to coordinate across product development, PM and customer services.
• Expertise in Java, Cassandra, Kafka, AWS and Kubernetes or equivalent stack.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team of developers for SaaS/hybrid products.
• Manage recruitment, training, and team effectiveness.
• Contribute technically via design reviews and code contributions.
• Forecast, allocate, and manage investments in people and capital.
• Collaborate with product management to define requirements.
• Assist team during production issues; on-call may be required.
