FloQast is seeking a Senior Software Engineering Manager in Los Angeles to lead multiple software teams responsible for scaling our B2B SaaS platform. You will balance people leadership with technical direction and collaborate with product, QA, architecture, security, and DevOps to deliver high‑quality software.
You will recruit and mentor engineers and engineering managers, drive process improvements, promote automated testing, CI/CD, lean practices, and foster an egoless, high‑trust culture
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering management experience leading teams delivering to paying customers.
- 5+ years as an individual contributor in software engineering, preferably with open source.
- 5+ years using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP).
- Experience recruiting and hiring software engineering personnel and managers.
- Experience coaching performance and guiding professional growth.
- Experience overseeing multiple software teams and managers.
- Experience leading geographically distributed teams.
Responsabilités
- Lead, manage, mentor and develop software engineers and engineering managers.
- Collaborate with product, QA, architecture, security and DevOps to deliver B2B SaaS software.
- Recruit, hire and retain engineering staff through recruiting and interview efforts.
- Improve department processes, practices and culture with other managers.
- Advocate for quality and delivery with automated testing, CI/CD, DevOps, lean practices.
