Job summary

Tulip Interfaces is seeking a senior engineering leader to own delivery for a team building web-enabled SaaS products and agentic AI capabilities. You will mentor engineers, set technical direction, and collaborate with product, design, and customer teams to ship high-quality features.

You will help define architecture, raise velocity while maintaining quality, and drive AI-first development patterns across our multi-cloud stack.

Qualifications

3+ years in people management leading a software team
Hands-on experience with cross-functional team leadership
Active use of AI tooling in development practice
Familiarity with tech stack: Typescript, React, Redux, Node.js, Golang, MongoDB, Postgres, Docker
7+ years of SaaS software engineering experience in modern stacks
Experience architecting systems integrating agentic and generative AI capabilities
Strong testing and deployment practices for multicloud/multitenant environments

Responsibilities

Own delivery scope for your team’s surface area; set direction and unblock work
Mentor and grow engineers; hire and create career opportunities
Collaborate with product, design, infra, and customer teams on key projects
Establish engineering standards: testing, observability, AI-driven development
Ensure strong operational health: on-call, incident response, tech debt management
