As a Sr Software Engineering Manager, you will build and lead the team behind the software our business runs on. You'll partner directly with operations, engineering and commercial leaders to turn business problems into solutions people actually use – and you'll set the bar for how your team designs, ships and supports them. You'll have access to modern AI tools and the latitude to build custom agentic solutions that balance creativity with sound engineering. Beyond the technical, you'll grow careers, shape the roadmap, and steward the investment in tools, vendors and talent that makes it all possible. This role reports to the Director of IT Operations & Maintenance Solutions with visibility across senior leadership.
Required: Bachelor's degree and minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in IT, including a minimum of two (2) years in a formal or informal leadership role.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field.
Preferred: Knowledge in implementation or support of cloud/SaaS applications.
Preferred: Experience in the energy or utility industries.
Preferred: Understanding of current and future state strategies for automation technology.
