Job summary

Good co India seeks an experienced engineering leader to drive the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of scalable software applications. You will mentor a team of developers, set architecture and coding standards, review code for quality and security, and collaborate with product managers and QA to define requirements.

You will plan timelines, allocate resources, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery while addressing complex issues and production incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in CS/IT/SE or related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in software development, with leadership experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and system design.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, microservices, databases, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, automated testing, and Agile/Scrum.
• Proven ability to lead teams, mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and drive end-to-end delivery.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
• Preferred cloud/DevOps or Agile certifications.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve software quality and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, data protection requirements, and industry best practices.
