Neulinx in New York City is seeking Software Engineers at mid to lead level to join a rapidly expanding team. The role is hybrid—3 days in the office—with a salary range of $190k–$250k plus equity. You will work with TypeScript, React, GraphQL and Ruby on Rails, with opportunities to use Node.js and Rust.

The team seeks engineers with a strong CS background, roughly 4–7 years of experience for the core senior profile, and the ability to own projects end-to-end across the stack.

Software Engineers – Mid to Lead Level | AI & Cybersecurity

New York City | Hybrid – 3 days in office | $190k–$250k + Equity

TypeScript, React, GraphQL and Ruby on Rails, Node.js and Rust.

Neulinx has partnered with a high-growth, VC-backed cybersecurity company that is significantly expanding its New York engineering team, with scope to make up to 5 x engineering hires across Mid, Senior and Lead level over the next few months.

The business is cash-flow positive, has raised $56m in funding and is backed by leading investors including Kleiner Perkins, Gradient Ventures (Google’s AI Fund), BoxGroup, Accomplice and Village Global.

They’re now entering a major new phase, expanding from security compliance into AI and cybersecurity, and are looking for strong product-focused engineers who want genuine ownership and the opportunity to build and shape new products.

The opportunity

You’ll work across the full product lifecycle – from planning and technical design through to building, shipping and optimising products in production.

The current stack includes TypeScript, React, GraphQL and Ruby on Rails, with opportunities to work with technologies including Node.js and Rust.

They’re particularly interested in engineers who:

• Have a strong CS background
• Have around 4–7 years’ experience for the core Senior profile, although they’re hiring across Mid–Lead level
• Are strong with TypeScript and a modern backend language
• Can work across the stack, even if they lean frontend or backend
• Have demonstrated strong progression and ownership
• Have led projects and/or mentored other engineers
• Enjoy moving quickly and solving complex product and engineering problems
• Are comfortable building cybersecurity technology supporting the US defence industrial base

Experience with Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL or Elasticsearch is a bonus.

Engineers from high-bar technology companies who are ready to step into their first Senior position are also of particular interest.
