Oncourse Home Solutions, also operated as American Water Resources, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Naperville, IL for a hybrid role. You will lead full-stack development using React, Next.js, Node.js, GraphQL, and MongoDB, mentoring teams and shaping the software portfolio.

Requirements include 6+ years in web/app development, experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and strong SEO/analytic capabilities. Competitive salary with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and building mobile-responsive applications.
• Minimum of 6 years of designing and developing eCommerce websites in a fast-paced digital team environment.
• Solid understanding of web application development principles, design patterns and best practices.
• Build new features and maintain existing projects using Next.js / React, GraphQL, Node.js, and MongoDB.
• Have a good understanding of containerization concepts (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with REST, WebSockets, XML, JSON & YAML.
• Experience with CSS Frameworks such as Tailwind, Bootstrap, or SCSS.
• Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools.
• Experience with on-site SEO: metadata, header elements, robots.txt, sitemaps, etc.
• Experience in subscription/eCommerce companies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and code in a full-stack arena using React, Next.js, Node.js, GraphQL.
• Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and product managers to refine requirements.
• Document and demonstrate solutions with documentation, flowcharts, and layouts.
• Use a TDD approach to development.
• Implement tracking for websites using GA tags.
• Participate in the prioritization process to bring technical needs to the roadmap.
