Job summary

Binance.US is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Web to design and build scalable, high-performance front-end web applications using Next.js, React, and modern front-end tech.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and DevOps teams to deliver accessible, secure user experiences while shaping front-end architecture and best practices. This role supports a remote-first environment with strong engineering growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin with ~8 years of professional software development experience, ~6 years with advanced degree.
• Strong proficiency in Next.js, React, Vue.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with performance optimization tools (Lighthouse, WebPageTest, Chrome DevTools).
• Experience designing and developing micro-frontend architectures for scalable web applications.
• Hands-on experience developing Mini Programs / Mini Apps (WeChat Mini Program or similar platforms).
• Solid understanding of SSR/SSG, CDN strategies, caching, and responsive design principles.
• Familiarity with front-end security best practices.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern deployment workflows.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Strong collaboration skills with Product, Design, and Backend teams.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team development.
• Bonus: Analytics instrumentation or blockchain-integrated front-ends (ethers.js, wallet integrations).

Responsibilities

• Partner with DevOps to support CI/CD pipelines and reliable deployment processes.
• Ensure high standards in code quality, accessibility, security, and automated testing (unit, integration, E2E).

About This Role:

Senior Software Engineer, Web is part of the Engineering team and reports to our Manager, Engineering. As Senior Software Engineer, Web, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable, high-performance web applications using Next.js and modern front-end technologies. You will partner with Product, Design, Backend, and DevOps teams to deliver performant, accessible, and secure user experiences while contributing to front-end architecture and engineering best practices.

Salary:

The starting pay range for this role is between CAD$ 174,487 - CAD$205,332 for all Canadian remote locations. The actual base pay will vary, and is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skill sets, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change.
