Job summary

Binance.US is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join the Engineering team, reporting to the DevOps Lead. You will enhance reliability, scalability, and observability of our systems, designing and maintaining monitoring solutions and ensuring uptime across services.

You will collaborate with development and operations, implement IaC with Terraform, and contribute to automation. This role emphasizes strong Linux skills, AWS experience, and proficiency in Go/Python/Bash.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CS/Engineering.
• 3+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Bash.
• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, or OpenTelemetry.
• Hands-on with AWS and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Strong Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

About This Role:

The Site Reliability Engineer is part of the Engineering team and reports to our DevOps Lead. In this role, you will support the reliability, scalability, and observability of our systems. Core Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and maintaining observability strategies for logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent instrumentation across services.
• Support adoption of observability best practices and tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Go, Python, Bash).
• Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK Stack, OpenTelemetry).
• Hands-on experience with AWS and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Strong Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Salary:

The starting pay for this role is USD $125,000 - $145,000 per year for all U.S. remote locations. The actual base pay will vary, and is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skill sets, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change.
