Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced software for material handling systems. You will architect scalable, high-performance solutions that integrate with WCS, WIS, and WMS, while mentoring mid-level and junior engineers.

You will collaborate with product managers to define technical requirements and roadmaps, perform code reviews, and ensure software quality and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in C, C++, JavaScript within Linux (RHEL) server environments.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies for software development.
• Proficiency in Git.
• Strong background in database design and management (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
