Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to advance the Unified Access Management (UAM) platform, building and operating foundational cloud services for Identity and Access Management across NVIDIA cloud services.

You will lead feature development, collaborate across teams, and own end-to-end delivery from design to production rollout, including on-call support responsibilities. Equity and benefits are included in the package.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of proven experience in deep learning, machine learning, computer vision, or applied AI.
• Experience on cloud services at scale: millions of transactions, low latency, high availability
• Expert knowledge of AWS Cloud, Kubernetes (k8s), and the GitOps model.
• Understanding of authorization strategies: ACL, RBAC, ABAC.
• Active team player and mentor, promoting a positive team environment.

Join our dynamic team at NVIDIA, where we're pushing the boundaries of what's possible with our coordinated access control platform. Our UAM platform is a cutting-edge "policy as code" system that enforces access control decisions across numerous NVIDIA cloud services. As our cloud offerings continue to expand, you'll have the opportunity to introduce new features, enhance scalability and reliability, and boost the operational efficiency of our foundational cloud services.

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of building and operating NVIDIA Cloud's foundational services for Identity and Access Management through our Unified Access Management Platform (UAM).

What you will be doing:

• Spearhead initiatives to introduce innovative features and integrations on the UAM Platform.

• Collaborate with diverse service teams, playing a crucial role in the successful delivery of critical organizational objectives.

• Take ownership of the end-to-end process for designing, coding, and rolling out features to production, ensuring the successful integration and adoption of UAM with other cloud services across NVIDIA.

• Participate in on-call support schedules, providing essential after-hours service support.

What we need to see:

• Possess a BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

• Demonstration of 5+ years of proven experience in deep learning, machine learning, computer vision, or applied AI.

• Display of experience on cloud services at scale: millions of transactions, low latency, high availability

• Verifiable expert-level knowledge of AWS Cloud, Kubernetes (k8s), and the GitOps model.

• Validation of understanding of different authorization strategies, including access control list (ACL), role-based access control (RBAC), and attribute-based access control (ABAC).

• Activity as a team player who actively mentors others, shares knowledge, and contributes to a positive team environment.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• General understanding of Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) projects.

• Worked with multiple IaaS cloud platforms, including AWS, GCP, Azure, and OCI.

• Experience building “function as a service” cloud services such as AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, Azure Functions, etc.

• Background in software development with AI tools (Codex, Claude, etc.)

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 152,000 USD - 241,500 USD for Level 3, and 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
