Job summary

KBR’s Mission Technology Solutions team seeks a Sr. Software Engineer to provide SETA support for the Intelligence Community GED. Design, develop, test, and deploy software across multidisciplinary teams, with a focus on DevOps, cloud, and secure coding. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance and DoD-related experience; leadership and collaboration are essential.

This contingent position supports GED front office activities and involves on-site engagement with national security programs.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of software development with DevOps, CI/CD, containers, and cloud tech.
• Experience with Web Services and JavaScript (ReactJS).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software for advanced systems.
• Define software requirements and translate them into designs.
• Lead junior engineers and mentor team members.
• Implement Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket/Git.
• Improve performance metrics through planning and execution.
• Prepare documentation and maintain software baselines.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and data teams to meet mission needs.
• Support on-site meetings and customer deliveries.
