Job summary

Paragon Cyber Solutions is seeking a Sr Software Developer/Engineer to analyze challenges and implement upgrades to existing CDSs or develop new ones. The role operates across multiple CCMD areas in support of DOS, USSTRATCOM, and AFSPC missions, with Top Secret clearance and TS/SCI eligibility.

Requirements include a BS in an IT-related field (MS preferred), 5+ years in software development, and hands-on experience with SELinux, Python, Perl, C++, Java, and scripting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field, Master's preferred.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• In-depth knowledge of SELinux, Python, Perl, C++, Java, bash, and regular expressions.
• Ability to perform reverse engineering and learn new programming concepts.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and implement modifications.

Responsibilities

• Improves software quality by identifying issues and developing standard operating procedures.
• Enhances applications by identifying opportunities for improvement and designing software systems.
• Maintains and improves existing codebases and performs peer reviews.
• Liais es with colleagues to implement technical designs.
• Investigates and uses new technologies where relevant.
• Travel to CDS sites for updates, installations, and training.
• Work with the CDS vendor during new builds, providing guidance and testing support.
• Ensure CDSs comply with Raise the Bar (RTB) updates.
