Job summary

2HB Incorporated is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role involves software development, testing, and integration with a mix of COTS and FOSS products, libraries, and packages.

Responsibilities include implementing and validating software solutions using Java, Spring Framework, and containerized deployments with Docker/Kubernetes, along with CI/CD practices and configuration management using Ansible.

Qualifications

• Experience using Linux CLI and Linux Tools.
• Scripting experience with Bash/Python.
• Recent Java development experience.
• Spring Framework experience (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Integration).
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Familiar with CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Bamboo, GitLab CI).
• Experience using Git for source control.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and integrate software with COTS and FOSS products and libraries.
• Implement software solutions in a Linux environment and maintain code quality.
• Collaborate with government customer and team to deliver reliable software.
