Job summary

Constellation Technologies seeks a highly experienced software engineer to support government programs in the Fort Meade area. The role requires US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.

You will lead software development efforts, analyze requirements, debug, and implement enhancements across complex systems. The position demands 20 years of SWE experience on similar contracts, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and on-call readiness to support operations.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• Requires TS/SCI clearance with active polygraph (last polygraph within 5 years).
• Twenty (20) years of SWE experience in similar programs required.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field from an accredited university.
• Four (04) years of additional relevant experience can substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance specs.
• Debug existing software and fix defects.
• Develop and review software documentation and standards.

Responsibilities

• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Design or modify software to add new features.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified environments.
• Develop simple data queries for databases.
• Write or review software and system documentation.
• Lead software development teams as appropriate.
• Coordinate installation and monitor system operation.
• Develop algorithms to meet performance and functional standards.
• Oversee quality control of developed software.
