Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC seeks a talented Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems. You will build simulations in the test and development environment and contribute to system design, including trade-offs and reuse of COTS/GOTS. Strong communication and independent work are essential.

Fourteen years of experience are expected with a Bachelor's in a relevant field. A Top-Secret/SCI with FS polygraph clearance is required, and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Strong Java backend development experience.
• Proficiency with React for building rich UIs.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with containers (Podman and/or Docker).
• Experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Experience designing and building microservices-based architectures.
• Knowledge of data processing paradigms: ML, streaming, and/or batch processing.
• Experience with data stores such as MongoDB, ArangoDB, Redis, PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems per documented requirements.
• Contribute to simulations in the test and development environment.
• Provide input to system design including trade-offs and reuse of software/COTS/GOTS.
• Collaborate with team with strong communication and independence as needed.
