Job summary
B4Corp in Bethesda, MD seeks a Senior Software Engineer (Level 3) to support a high-security program requiring TS/SCI with a polygraph. The role centers on DevOps-led software development, cloud-based solutions, and end-to-end lifecycle work across Python, Java and NiFi in a Windows/Linux environment.
Responsibilities include expanding data ingest flows with Spark/NiFi, deploying automated solutions, and aligning work with SAFe Agile practices while collaborating with Delivery Owners and Scrum
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS or related field with 4–8 years of relevant experience or Master's with 2–6 years.
- Proficiency in Agile practices, DevOps toolchains, and software delivery.
- Experience with Python, Java and AWS in a SDLC context.
Responsibilities
- Participate in software programming initiatives using Python, Java and NiFi.
- Expand Spark and NiFi data ingest flows with ETL developers.
- Develop and integrate software solutions for automated deployment.
- Deploy solutions in Commercial Cloud Services within a DevOps framework.
- Coordinate with team members, Delivery Owners and Scrum Masters on User Stories.
- Analyze performance and coordinate infrastructure needs to meet mission goals.
- Support SAFe Agile lifecycle and use GitHub, Jenkins, Linux scripting.
- Communicate project data to team members and foster cohesion.
- Leverage JIRA and Confluence to track activities.
- Identify best practices and create innovative customer solutions.
