Job summary

Nightwing seeks a seasoned Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development, testing and deployment of complex, mission-critical software systems. You will work with autonomy on high-visibility programs supporting national security and deliver scalable, secure, high-performance applications.

Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance, IAT II certification, and have 10+ years of experience. Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland, with potential for travel as needed.

Qualifications

10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance required.
IAT Level II certification required.
Experience delivering complex, mission-critical software systems.
Ability to mentor junior engineers and influence technical direction.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, testing, and deployment of complex software systems.
Apply advanced software engineering principles and agile methodologies.
Work independently on complex tasks while contributing to technical direction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet security and functionality requirements.
