Auria is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Test Automation & Simulation to design, develop, and integrate key software components for the Space Data Network-Backbone Mission Operations Center. This is a remote, contingent position.

The ideal candidate has 6–10+ years of software/SDET experience, strong Python and Go skills, gRPC/Protobuf, and expertise in API service virtualization, performance/load testing, and Kubernetes/Docker. Excellent CI/CD and debugging abilities are required.

Auria is actively seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Test Automation & Simulation to design, develop, and integrate key software components for the Space Data Network-Backbone (SDN-B) Mission Operations Center (MOC). This is a remote, contingent position.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:

Develop simulated gRPC/mTLS services for development, load-testing
Demonstrate capability without depending continuously on live external systems
Integrate simulations into CI/CD pipelines
Build automated unit, integration, performance and E2E tests.

WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:

6–10+ years software/SDET experience

Active TS required.

WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:

Experience in data integration for C2 systems (i.e., Space C2) is preferred.

PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $150,000-$185,000
