Software Engineer Technical Lead, Senior

This role is more than just coding. As a senior full stack developer at Booz Allen, you'll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You'll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You'll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:

• Experience with Java, Python, mySQL, and Javascript
• Experience with Apache Storm or Zookeeper, Angular, Saltstack, Salt-cloud, Elastic, Logstash and Kibana, Linux, Mkdocs, Bitbucket or Git, Jira for ticket tracking, Virtual Machines, AWS, S3, or SQS
• Experience providing Tier 3 levels of support to troubleshoot site issues
• Ability to communicate customer needs and prioritization between customer, technical team, program managers, and third parties
• Ability to review code for correctness, performance, and maintainability
• Ability to delegate and track tasks and team performance and provide feedback
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience with software engineering or Master's degree and 6+ years of experience with software engineering
  
  

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with containerization-based technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker
• Experience with technical risk management
• Ability to support and guide team members in their technical growth
  
  

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
