Job summary
Ameriprise Financial Inc. is seeking a senior software leader to oversee design, development, documentation, testing, and modification of enterprise software applications.
You will champion standard techniques and drive architecture decisions, performance monitoring, and governance across the development life-cycle. You will mentor a diverse development team, coordinate with business partners, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software while maintaining system integrity and production
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience required.
- 7+ years of experience coding and/or designing in multiple programming languages, including focus on the target software stack.
- 7+ years of practical experience building complex software applications in multiple environments.
- Experience working with vendor partner resources.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, testing, and documentation of software applications.
- Guide architecture design and performance monitoring.
- Ensure SDLC deliverables and code reviews.
- Provide mentorship to development team.
- Collaborate with business and project teams to gather requirements.
