Job summary

BlueMatrix is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to lead a cross-functional team in building client-facing components using Java, ReactJS, and PostgreSQL. You will mentor engineers, shape architecture, and drive delivery of scalable microservices on AWS with Docker deployments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, 1–2+ years in team leadership, and strong collaboration across Product and Design. Hybrid work model and global collaboration are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong Java, ReactJS, and PostgreSQL.
• 1–2+ years in a leadership or team lead capacity.
• Hand-on experience building production applications and Docker-based deployments.
• Experience delivering scalable, production-ready systems with REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of engineers, championing ownership and collaboration.
• Write clean, maintainable code and guide architecture and technical decisions.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and stakeholders to define Epics and plan sprints.
• Own sprint planning, timelines, and risk management to ensure timely delivery.
