You will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and partner with Product to shape roadmaps while contributing to frontend and backend codebases in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in software development with leadership experience, strong AWS/serverless skills, and a track record delivering scalable REST APIs in a SaaS or finance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 1-2+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, ECS, SQS, Kinesis, Sendgrid, Postfix, and Terraform.
• Experience delivering scalable, production-ready systems.
• Ability to contribute to frontend and/or backend codebases and deliver REST APIs.
• Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams; Agile/scrum mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of engineers, fostering innovation and collaboration.
• Conduct 1:1s, coach, and support engineers' professional development.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
• Write clean, efficient code and guide architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Own sprint planning, delivery timelines, and reporting; manage risks.
