JT4 LLC is seeking a Software Engineer IV to plan, develop, test, and deploy software for complex EW and RF systems in Colorado Springs. You will integrate software with hardware, document requirements, and work with cross-functional teams to meet schedules and quality standards.

The role demands advanced engineering experience, strong programming, and a proactive problem-solving approach. Travel to remote sites may be required, and security clearances could be needed.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in engineering from ABET-accredited institution with eight years of related experience, or MS with six years, or PhD with four years.
• Experience with database development (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB).
• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Experience with message brokers (NATS).
• Experience with WebSockets and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of SNMP, UDP/TCP packet processing, Git/Github.

Responsabilidades

• Plans, conducts, and implements software projects and phases from design through maintenance.
• Analyze, evaluate and integrate solutions to complex problems.
• Provide estimates and report status to management and leads.
• Collaborate with project management, hardware/software teams for proper integration.
• Design, implement, test, and deploy software projects.
• Review system software changes for compatibility.
