Job summary

Belay Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Sustainment) to join our intel team in Columbia, MD. Candidates must hold TS/SCI with polygraph and have extensive software development experience in DoD programs.

Required qualifications include a 12-year track record in software engineering and a Bachelor's degree in CS or a related field, with substitution allowed for four additional years of experience. Will lead teams and drive sustainment efforts across systems.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• 12 years of software development/engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Four additional years of software development experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
• Investigate and analyze system and user problems to identify solutions
• Debug existing software and correct defects
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or environments
• Develop and implement algorithms to address system performance or functional issues
• Write or review software and system documentation
• Oversee one or more software development or sustainment teams and ensure timely delivery
• Design or implement complex algorithms with timing and resource constraints
