Sony Interactive Entertainment in California is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Streaming & Systems to build performance-sensitive software across game streaming, platform software, infrastructure, and emerging product areas.

You will work with C/C++, Linux and Windows, real‑time media, cloud-enabled capabilities, and AI-native workflows for code exploration, debugging, testing, documentation, automation, and rapid prototyping.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• Strong C/C++ and Linux experience
• Experience with AI-native engineering workflows and debugging tools

Responsibilities

• Develop performance-sensitive systems in C/C++ for Linux environments
• Work across game streaming, platform software, and cloud-enabled capabilities
• Prototype, validate, and ship production-quality software
• Debug complex systems issues related to performance and reliability
• Collaborate with streams engineering, platform, and infrastructure teams
• Contribute to tooling, automation, and rapid exploration workflows
