Job summary

TransCore, a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a Sr Software Engineer, Smart Mobility to build backend services, APIs, and web experiences for a cloud-native mobility platform.

This hands-on senior role focuses on designing and delivering cloud-native services on Azure using C# and .NET, with front-end collaboration in Angular/TypeScript and a path to mentorship within a small, fast-moving team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10–13 years of professional software development experience building production services.
• Strong C# and .NET experience including ASP.NET Core Web API.
• Experience designing cloud-native apps on Azure; familiarity with queues/streams.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, TLS/mTLS and secure token handling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and operate scalable backend services and APIs in C#/.NET.
• Develop cloud-native apps on Azure with containerized services and CI/CD.
• Implement event-driven workflows using queues and streaming technologies.
• Maintain integrations with internal systems and partner APIs.
• Contribute to Angular/TypeScript front ends when needed.
