Lead and deliver high-impact and high-visibility projects to supercharge Snowflake’s security operations
Design, implement, and maintain security platforms and tooling for global security functions, including detection engines, threat intelligence platforms, and security and compliance automation
Collaborate with security data analytics teams on design and maintenance of data infrastructure, including data ingestions, data RBAC, governance, discoverability, and validation systems on the Snowflake Data Cloud
Contribute and maintain open source projects such as SnowAlert and GEFF, in-use by major Snowflake customers
Develop proof-of-concepts with external security partners to drive internal innovation
Collaborate with junior and senior technical staff across Snowflake to advance and lead security goals
Demonstrative ability to architect and deliver reliable and performant software projects, including evaluating technologies and trade-offs to fulfill stakeholder requirements and team goals
Experience with designing and building data intensive systems
Demonstrative ability to maintain a high degree of operational readiness for services, ensuring high reliability, availability and performance.
Demonstrative ability to mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with senior engineers
Demonstrative ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders in a dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changes
Fluency in Python and SQL
Experience with Bazel, dbt, Gitlab CI/CD, Terraform
Experience with Snowflake Data Cloud features, such as Snowpark and Streamlit
Experience with collaborating with security data analysts, and tactical security practitioners

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
