VIA, headquartered in Boston, MA, is a mission-critical software company enabling secure, fast data sharing and analysis. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will architect, build, and secure scalable software using Web3 and quantum-resistant tech to protect data across environments.

You will lead core component design, implement robust SDLC processes, and drive automation and testing, while collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or science.
• 5+ years of relevant full stack or backend development experience.
• Cloud-based microservices experience and cryptography techniques (e.g., Istio, zero trust, observability).
• RESTful APIs secured by OAuth2/Auth; encryption in applications.
• Knowledge of Docker containers and Helm charts.
• Experience leading an Agile development team is a plus; on-time delivery and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of secure, scalable microservices.
• Integrate VIA’s Web3 components and privacy-preserving tech.
• Define and drive end-to-end SDLC processes.
• Create and optimize CI/CD automation pipelines.
• Develop automated testing strategies.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of deployed apps.
• Provide privacy and security leadership across projects.
• Explain complex designs to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align goals.
• Stay current with privacy, cryptography, and distributed systems trends.
