Job summary

BeyondTrust, Inc. seeks a Sr. Software Engineer to join the Engineering department.

You will design, build, and support enterprise client/server applications within the Secure Remote Access suite, owning the appliance OS, build/release pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. Collaboration with engineering and support teams is essential to deliver robust solutions. The role requires 5+ years of software development, strong Unix/Linux knowledge, and hands-on experience with Python, PHP, Laravel, and

Qualifications

5+ years of software development experience.
Extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
Proficiency with Python and PHP.
Experience with Laravel or similar MVC frameworks and large legacy code.
Hands-on AWS experience (EC2, Route 53, S3, IAM, KMS).
Database design and administration experience.
Ability to perform peer reviews and unit testing.
Experience with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for complex client/server enterprise applications.
Translate storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
Collaborate with teams on feature design and product direction.
Create test cases and documentation for assigned projects/tasks.
Troubleshoot complex issues, gather product feedback, and build patches.
Build, package, sign, and release updates for on-premises and cloud deployments.
