Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for an on-site role in San Diego, CA. The candidate must have strong JavaScript, React, Linux (RHEL) experience and hold an ACTIVE SECRET clearance to start. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Responsibilities include designing and developing modular, secure software on a RHEL platform, with C++-based apps, X windows interfaces, and web middleware, plus supporting security accreditation efforts.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and active SECRET clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree with 9+ years experience or Master's with 7+ years.
• Front-end: JavaScript, React, CSS3 and HTML5 with libraries.
• Experience with Linux (RHEL) and web servers Nginx/Apache.
• Experience designing large-scale systems and DBMS usage.

Responsibilities

• Perform software engineering design and development of reliable, modular components.
• Develop software on a RHEL OS platform.
• Work with C++ based apps, X windows apps, and web middleware.
• Develop with security accreditation policies and mechanisms.
