Job summary

RTX is seeking a skilled software professional for an onsite role in El Segundo, CA. The position requires a DoD secret clearance and U.S. citizenship, with advanced software development experience in C++, Java, and Python.

You will contribute across the full lifecycle, from design to field support, in a collaborative, secure environment. Ideal candidates bring Linux experience, DevSecOps awareness, and the ability to work within Agile teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5 years of software experience.
• Experience in programming languages such as C++, Java, Python or similar.
• Experience across SDLC including software integration & testing, and debugging tools.
• Experience using version control tools like Git.
• Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Work on a software product as part of the team; may lead a small software team.
• Responsibilities spanning full lifecycle: architecture, design, integration, test, and field support.
