Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an experienced software engineer to scale the infrastructure behind our research tooling. You will work with researchers and engineers to design and evolve systems that support rapidly growing usage and complex workflows.

You will independently scope multi-month projects, drive architectural decisions, and mentor other engineers while maintaining a strong focus on reliability and scalability in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Design, build, and operate large-scale distributed systems in production.
• Independently scope and deliver complex multi-month technical projects.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and hands-on coding ability.
• Make architectural decisions that other engineers build on top of.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across teams.
• Operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
