Income Research Management, a Boston-based fixed income asset manager, seeks a Senior Software Engineer for the Client Service Technology team. You will design robust reporting frameworks and data pipelines to support client deliverables and internal decision-making.

The role combines data engineering with reporting, collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable, automated solutions and enhancements across systems and workflows.

Formación

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 5+ years of software engineering with emphasis on reporting, data engineering, or analytics platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with reporting/visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
• Experience building automated reporting workflows and client-ready deliverables.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and develop scalable reporting frameworks supporting standardized outputs and client-specific customizations.
• Design, build, and maintain automated reporting solutions that generate client-ready outputs (Excel, PDF, PowerPoint, Word).
• Develop and optimize data extraction, transformation, and validation pipelines using SQL, Python, or related technologies.
• Integrate data from enterprise systems, third-party vendors, and internal data stores to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Perform root cause analysis on reporting discrepancies and implement durable fixes to prevent recurrence.
• Enhance reporting infrastructure for performance, maintainability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specs; support user acceptance testing.
• Establish data quality controls and validation processes for reliability of client deliverables.
• Apply development best practices including version control, code review, automated testing, documentation, and CI/CD.
• Design and implement internal tools and lightweight apps to streamline Client Service workflows.
