Job summary

Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA seeks a Senior Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain custom applications, modules, templates, and integrations using modern web technologies. At least 5 years of experience in a Senior Software Developer or related occupation.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain custom applications, modules, templates, workflows, content models, and integrations using web technologies.
Implement and support system architecture, data integrations, APIs, and web services to ensure interoperability between repositories, databases, operating systems, and external university systems.
Install, configure, upgrade, monitor, and troubleshoot web and application platforms to ensure security, performance, availability, and reliability.
Document system configurations, changes, and procedures, and coordinate with vendors as needed to resolve system issues or outages.
Work from home is permitted.
