Job summary

Skillable is a 100% remote and virtual tech company modernizing the world of training. The Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain server-side and client-side logic, APIs, databases, UIs, and libraries in C# or JavaScript/TypeScript, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver the product roadmap.

You will work in two-week sprints, write tests, mentor teammates, and help establish high-quality development patterns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience in an agile product team.
• Strong experience with C#, React, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with MSSQL and Entity Framework is preferred.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and unit testing.
• Experience with cloud-native applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test software applications using C#, React/NextJs, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Design, implement, and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests.
• Deliver new functionality every two-week sprint.
• Mentor team members and establish quality development patterns.
• Collaborate with designers, QA, and product experts in a cross-functional team.
